AgriFest is a colorful display of locally produced agricultural products, livestock, arts and crafts, and native food. The event takes place over three days, and the opportunity to taste, touch, and see everything that has to do with agriculture on St. Croix is available. There are venders selling a variety of goods and locally made products. The main exhibit hall houses the farmer's market, where you can buy fruit, vegetables, herbs, and other plants grown by St. Croix farmers as well as by farmers from different islands in the Caribbean. There are also exhibits sponsored by St. Croix schools, youth groups, and public service groups. There is a livestock pavilion that houses cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, ducks, rabbits, and peacocks, just to name a few. Awards are given for various categories for produce and livestock much like our fairs in the US. For children, there are bounce houses, go carts, a flying car carnival ride, and a petting zoo. Below are some photos of the event.
